Penn State Fayette dropped an 8–1 decision on the road to Kent State Tuscarawas on March 8, 2026.
Kent State Tuscarawas built an early advantage, scoring three runs in the first inning and adding two more in the second to take control of the game. They continued to add insurance runs in the fifth and sixth innings, finishing with 10 hits on the day.
Fayette was limited offensively, collecting four hits in the contest. Manny Stitch, Frank Macioce, Lucas Vilchez, and Jonathan Vasbinder each recorded a hit, with Vasbinder driving in the lone run in the seventh inning.
On the mound, Brogan Meighen took the loss, allowing five runs (four earned) over four innings. Josh Vacha added two innings in relief, striking out three.
Kent State Tuscarawas was led offensively by Coen Larson, who tallied three hits and two RBI, while Wyatt Bohannon added a two-run home run in the sixth inning.
