Four Roaring Lions Earn USCAA Academic All-American Honors
Penn State Fayette's women's cross country team placed four runners on the 2011 USCAA Academic All-American Team.

UNIONTOWN, Pa. - A record four Penn State Fayette cross country runners earned Academic All-American awards from the United States Collegiate Athletic Association for 2011.
Sophomores Jacynth Drumhiller (Uniontown, Pa.), Rachael Franks (Uniontown, Pa.), Heather Hunchuck (Uniontown, Pa.) and Jennifer Naymick (Uniontown, Pa.) were named to the USCAA Academic All-American Team after the season concluded.
Academic All-Americans must have at least third semester standing and have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher to receive the national honor.
This season's four honorees brings the cross country team's all-time total to six in the program's three year history.
Hunchuck, a veterinarian and biomedical sciences major, and Naymick, a computer engineering major, plan to transfer to Penn State University Park in fall 2012. Franks, a human development and family studies major, will elect a campus for fall 2012 after her spring semester, while Drumhiller, an education major, also plans to transfer to University Park.
