Bio
Jim Jackson enters his role as assistant coach with a proven record of success across multiple sports. A native of Mannington, West Virginia, Jackson has guided teams to championships in baseball and travel basketball tournaments, earning recognition for his ability to develop players and build winning programs. He is a certified West Virginia Secondary School coach and brings a strong foundation in player development and recruiting to the college level.
 
 
Jackson’s educational journey includes two years of college study and a five-year apprenticeship in the union construction trade, experiences that shaped his philosophy of discipline, resilience, and teamwork. His coaching style emphasizes hard work, commitment, and the belief that team values are the cornerstone of achieving desired goals.
 
 
Beyond athletics, Jackson is deeply rooted in his community. Married for 30 years, he and his wife have raised five children and enjoy time with their seven grandchildren. He remains active in local events and community initiatives, embodying the same dedication to service and leadership that he instills in his athletes.
