Walls Records Double-Double in Tough Loss to Beaver
Penn State Fayette Falls to Penn State Beaver at Home
Penn State Fayette dropped a home contest Saturday afternoon, falling 74–43 to Penn State Beaver at the Community Center in Lemont Furnace.
The Lions competed early but struggled to generate consistent offense against Beaver's defensive pressure. Fayette was held to 28.8 percent shooting from the field and 16.7 percent from three-point range, making it difficult to close the gap as the game progressed.
Savannah Walls led Penn State Fayette with a double-double, finishing with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Amari Wilkes added seven points and nine rebounds, while Heaven Grumm contributed nine points, five rebounds, and four steals in the effort.
Despite the offensive challenges, Fayette won the battle on the boards, outrebounding Beaver 52–45. However, turnovers proved costly, as Beaver capitalized on 36 Fayette miscues to build and maintain its lead.
Penn State Beaver was paced by Bailey Rieg with 18 points, while Cashimere Ralph added 13 off the bench as Beaver pulled away in the second half.
