Fayette Dominates Schuylkill in 76–32 Home Victory
LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. — January 17, 2026 — Penn State Fayette women's basketball delivered a dominant all-around performance Saturday afternoon, rolling past Penn State Schuylkill 76–32 at home.
The Roaring Lions set the tone early, holding Schuylkill to just two points in the opening quarter while building a 17–2 advantage. Fayette continued to control the game on both ends of the floor, extending the lead to 37–9 at halftime and outscoring the visitors in every quarter.
Heaven Grumm led all scorers with a game-high 23 points, adding four rebounds, five steals, and shooting 50 percent from the field. Savannah Walls posted a strong double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds, while also drawing frequent trips to the free-throw line.
Fayette's balanced attack featured contributions across the lineup. Reagan Rudder finished with 10 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals, while Takiah Cheathon added seven points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Geelece Ingram orchestrated the offense with six assists, and Amari Wilkes chipped in six points and seven rebounds.
Defensively, Fayette forced 25 turnovers, converting pressure into transition opportunities throughout the contest. The Roaring Lions also won the rebounding battle 41–15, limiting second-chance opportunities for Schuylkill.
Penn State Fayette shot 42.6 percent from the field and recorded 22 assists on 29 made baskets, showcasing strong ball movement in the convincing win.
