Penn State Fayette delivered a dominant performance on both ends of the floor, rolling to a 78–32 victory over Appalachian Bible in a wire-to-wire win. Fayette controlled the tempo from the opening tip, outscoring the Warriors in every quarter and using a balanced offensive attack to improve their rhythm and depth early in the season.
Fast Start & Defensive Control
Fayette set the tone immediately with a 20–10 first quarter, pushing the pace in transition and attacking the offensive boards. The Lions followed with a 15–6 second quarter, building a 35–16 halftime advantage while holding Appalachian Bible to just 23% shooting in the opening half.
Defensively, Fayette swarmed the ball and forced Appalachian Bible into tough, contested looks all night. The Warriors shot just 23.3% from the field and 10.5% from three, while their 33 turnovers fueled Fayette's transition offense.
Balanced Scoring & Strong Interior Play
Eight different Lions scored, with four reaching double figures. Fayette dominated inside, scoring efficiently in the paint and outrebounding Appalachian Bible 44–44 while also scoring 31 baskets on 47% shooting.

Dominant Defensive Effort
Fayette forced turnover after turnover, using pressure defense and active hands to generate 23 steals and numerous fast-break opportunities. Appalachian Bible's leading scorer, Katie Miller, was held to 13 points on 6-for-25 shooting, never finding a rhythm against Fayette's disciplined defensive rotations.
Finishing Strong
Already leading by nearly 30 entering the second half, Fayette continued to push the pace, winning the third quarter 22–8 and the fourth 21–8. The Lions outscored Appalachian Bible 43–16 in the second half, closing out one of their most complete performances of the season.
