Penn State Fayette delivered one of its most complete performances of the season on both ends of the floor, overwhelming Westmoreland County Community College 75–37 on Wednesday night. Fayette controlled the game from the opening tip, exploding for 27 first-quarter points and never looking back.
First Quarter: Fayette Sets the Tone
Fayette came out firing, pushing the pace and dominating the boards to build a commanding 27–7 lead after the opening frame. Heaven Grumm, Savannah Walls, and Reagan Rudder powered the early surge with efficient scoring, while Fayette's defense held Westmoreland without rhythm or clean looks.
Second Quarter: Defense Maintains Control
Westmoreland settled in defensively, limiting Fayette to seven points in the second quarter, but the Roaring Lions continued to control the glass and force turnovers. With a 34–20 lead at halftime, Fayette remained firmly in control even as the game slowed down.
