Lemont Furnace, PA- Fayette women's basketball had a big win last night against Penn State New Kensington.
Fayette showed their strength with a 77-50 win last night against New Kensington. Taylor McCormick had 32 points, 7 assists and 7 rebounds to contribute to the Fayette team. Carissa Caldwell showed up big last night as well with 19 points, finishing 7-14. Fayette is now 3-1 heading into their first conference away game against Wilkes Barre. Taylor McCormick is under 45 points to achieve 1,000, which is a strong possibility for the senior that is averaging 28.5 per game.
