Bio
Let’s meet Sean Brown…
Coach Brown enters his second year at Penn State Fayette, bringing a strong blend of playing experience, player development, and collegiate coaching background.
A standout at the high school level, Brown finished his career with an exceptional senior season, averaging 24 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks, and 2 steals per game, earning 2019–20 Area Player of the Year honors. His junior season was cut short due to a fractured fibula, making his senior-year performance a testament to his resilience and work ethic.
Brown went on to play collegiately at Frostburg State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a 3.0 GPA. While his individual statistics did not headline box scores, he was part of a Frostburg State program that secured wins over two nationally ranked top-100 teams, Fairmont State and West Virginia State, contributing to a winning culture built on toughness, discipline, and team-first play.
Following his playing career, Brown transitioned into coaching on the Puma Pro circuit with West Virginia Gold, working alongside Coach Trey Austin. During his time on the circuit, Brown helped coach and develop multiple Division I athletes along with several additional Division II prospects, gaining valuable experience in high-level recruiting, player development, and national competition.
Brown is the son of Tracey Fowlkes, Sean Brown Sr., and Jennifer Brown. He currently serves as an assistant coach at Penn State Fayette, where he continues to focus on player development, accountability, and preparing student-athletes to succeed both on and off the court.
