Fayette Sets the Tone Early in 98–80 Victory
Fayette Powers Past Du Bois, 98–80, Behind Fast Start and Balanced Attack
Penn State Fayette delivered a strong all-around performance on Saturday afternoon, defeating Penn State Du Bois 98–80 at the Lemont Furnace Community Center. The Nittany Lions set the tone early, racing out to a 53–32 halftime lead and never looking back.
Fayette's offense was clicking from the opening tip, moving the ball efficiently and attacking the paint. Landon Percinsky led all scorers with 22 points, knocking down four three-pointers and adding six steals in an energetic two-way effort. Kamau Mitchell followed with 15 points, while Jaylen Judge filled the stat sheet with 12 points, eight assists, and six rebounds.
Jahiem Hinton contributed a strong all-around game with 11 rebounds, six assists, and three steals, helping Fayette control the glass and dictate tempo. Josiah McKoy added 11 points off the bench, and John Osuji chipped in nine points and eight rebounds as Fayette finished with a 49–38 rebounding advantage.
Du Bois was led by Ashton Fortson and Nate Cornelius, who each scored 23 points, and Cole Love added 18 off the bench. Despite Du Bois shooting well from beyond the arc, Fayette's depth, ball movement, and defensive pressure proved too much over the full 40 minutes.
With the win, Penn State Fayette improves to 10–4 in PSUAC play
