Fayette Pulls Away for 89–74 Win Over Penn State New Kensington
LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. – The Penn State Fayette men's basketball team delivered a strong all-around performance Wednesday night, earning an 89–74 victory over Penn State New Kensington at the Community Center.
Fayette set the tone early with efficient ball movement and consistent scoring from multiple positions. The Roaring Lions built momentum through the first half behind their interior presence and perimeter shooting, carrying that energy into the locker room and never looking back.
John Osuji controlled the paint for Fayette, posting a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds while anchoring the defense. Landon Percinsky led all Fayette scorers with 17 points, adding timely shooting and steady play on both ends of the floor. Kamau Mitchell and Noah Payne also made key contributions, combining for 25 points off strong shooting performances.
Fayette's offense was complemented by unselfish play, finishing with 24 assists on 32 made field goals. DeAndre Brown Jr. orchestrated the offense with 10 assists, while Jaylen Judge added six assists and three steals to keep pressure on New Kensington throughout the contest.
Despite New Kensington's strong shooting night, Fayette maintained control with rebounding, depth, and defensive stops down the stretch to secure the win.
