local product, Bittner signs with Fayette

Lemont Furnace, PA- Michael "Mikey" Bittner has inked with Penn State Fayette Men's Basketball.

Michael Bittner, known as Mikey to the local community, has officially committed to Penn State Fayette men's basketball and will start his journey with the program in Fall 2023. Mikey Bittner is a local product, currently going to school and playing basketball at Laurel Highlands High School. Mikey is community known, with his hometown of Uniontown and being a part of Laurel Highlands Boys Basketball's WPIAL Championship last season. Mikey is has also excelled off the court by being a member of the National Honor Society. Mikey plans to major in Business and hopes to start his own business one day. Bittner is excited to be a part of the Penn State [Fayette] family and join the men's basketball team next season. When asked who his biggest influences were he left us with this, "My parents and Coach Tank have played a huge role in getting me to where I am today."
