Gonzales posts another strong outing for the Fayette Nittany Lions
State College, PA - The Penn State Fayette golf team competed in the first Penn State University Athletic Conference tournament of 2018, the Penn State University White Invitational, on Thursday, September 6 an the White Course in State College, PA.
 
"All of the players on our team improved their scores from the previous tournament," said head coach Dave Gumbert. "Our team finished in sixth place on a very hot and muggy day in State College."
The tournament was the first of two neutral site tournaments for the conference and 10 teams participated.
Louis Gonzalez (Port Lavaca, TX/Calhoun HS) looked best for the team as he finished tied for seventh with a 77 while Ryan Gesso (Uniontown, PA/Laurel Highlands) tied for 12th place with an 80.

Noah House (Mt. Pleasant/Southmoreland HS) shot an 83 to finish tied for 17th while Eric Silbaugh (Uniontown, PA/Uniontown HS) finished 45th with a 100, Liam Reshenberg (Uniontown, PA/Geibel Catholic) finished 48th with a 109, Pablo Gudiel (Washington, DC/Woodrow Wilson HS) shot a 53 to finish 151st
and Alex Shafley (Mt. Pleasant, PA
/Mt. Pleasant HS) finished 54th with a 169.
