Lemont Furnace, Pa - Trevor Thomas has committed to furthering his academic and athletic career at Penn State Fayette. Thomas reins from Meyersdale, PA and has a declared major of administration of justice. Thomas was an all-conference and all county player for Meyersdale High School. He has had tremendous help from his coach, Wayne Miller, during his time there and describes him as the most influential person that has helped him get to where he is today.
Thomas has had a memorable career at Meyersdale High School. With being a part of their varsity team for 3 seasons, Trevor had a career batting average of .301 and an on base percentage of .427. Year after year, his stats continued to improve. In Trevor's senior year, he had a .337 batting average. In his 105 plate appearances, Thomas had 16 walks, 28 hits, 29 runs, 8 RBIs, and 5 doubles. Trevor will also be utilized and used primarily as an infielder as well as seeing some time on the mound.
Though his coach has helped the most with baseball, his family is what motivates him day in and day out. Aside from his degree, Thomas is looking most forward to winning a conference championship for Penn State Fayette.
